maybe you can change the file name... like make [Cyber12.com]_Bakuman_S2_-_09.mp4 into [Cyber12.com]_Bkmn_S2_-_09.mp4... looks like it works for other site...

You've gotta be kidding, Mediafire is the best filehost out there, don't abandon them

you should change the title like the other side do, mediafire is the best filehost so far, so please do something about this.

Posted by khayali 2011-12-02 14:55
ya like others said change the names in M.F for example [cyber12.com] Hunter x Hunter - 01 TO [cyber12.com] HxH - 01 or something like that seems to working in other sites
11.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-02 15:33
it would be better to backup only LQ as they r re-encoded stuff
btwn
i also agree with title tweak as they become hard to locate for File Hosts Sites Staff.
change title to [Cyber12.com]_G.C_-_01.mp4 instead of [Cyber12.com] Guilty Crown - 08.mp4

Posted by Jenice 2011-12-02 16:46
I agree with khayali and kuro123qwer. By using title tweak really make them hardly removed. Hope you can considerate on using this way in mediafire

in case u need another site, u could always try multiupload~ just a suggestion
14.
Posted by NrG 2011-12-02 22:23
We will try multiple, multiple uploading sites. Two of the same mirror per file. Mirror 1 and Mirror 2.
16.
Posted by NrG 2011-12-02 22:34
http://www.mirrorcreator.com/, http://www.embedupload.com/ and multiupload.com are all prospects. Please keep sending in more suggestions. We are also looking for additional individuals who will be able to upload files to these sites. So please drop a post in the forum or contact me at my MSN.

Always Keep Checked MU, MF, Enterupload, ifile.it when uploading to mirrorcreator.com
as they are easiest to download from

To use mirrorcreator.com is a nice idea.
Heads up my friend!
It is way more convenient, sometimes.

Is the copyright problem really in the file name? Won't they just check the contents directly?
If the file is uploaded in a playable format they (at the file hosting) can simply download one file from a batch and check it then delete the rest of the files once they confirm it.
Maybe if compressed in a random file name and password protected they won't bother? Providing there is no lead to this site from the upload...
Dunno how file hosting checking works, I thought of the above according to my simple understanding.

Posted by coolizer 2011-12-03 05:27
in any case... are u gonna re-upload the deleted ones? cause i can help with that if you want
22.
Posted by Gazer 2011-12-03 05:35
The problem is not really on the file name.
Someone with proper authority over his/her work(file's etc...) can file a report of the "COPYRIGHT material" whether in the form like links to it etc... to the file hosting company provided the he/she owns it.
If anything else, just filing a report of abuse, etc...
In other words, the file hosting itself doesn't bother to check what the contents are on those file except for like malware, virus, etc... and according to some policy they set unless some report it to them.
So it will be pointless if we use mirrorcreator or any file hosting (i don't know it that works on PREMIUM membership of the File hosting itself) if someone report the link...
Free membership is prone to be abuse as always...
[Maybe somebody notice on how REALLY the mediafire works (like on keeping its file) but if I post it here it would make a result a ban on my account. If you wanna know just read their Terms and condition together with Acceptable Use policy or their FAQ's. If you analyze the whole thing, you will get the general idea of what Im talking about...] I still dont know on some hosting site on how it really works...
It is possible to work with torrent the whole file but that would be break the idea how this site came to be.
This is my opinion, if someone offended by it, then I apologize now.

tweaking the name of the files is really good idea instead of the norm but here's another thing i would like you guys to tweak your identifier
from
ex
[cyber12] shakugan no shana 01 to [cybr12] sh_n_sh 01
or something of the sort the reason being is that its a give away when you use the same identifier over again and its easier for admins to locate things with the same name specially if that names are on blacklist and here is another point i would like to add use many different accounts so its harder to ban all your accounts and set a different nameing system
ex
account1 [cb12] sh_n_sh 01
account2 [cy12] shak_no_shan 02
i hope you consider this
25.
Posted by mzrz 2011-12-03 11:46
Hmm How About Enterupload.com ... Its like Mediafire but the different is we must wait for timelock n become Free Member to use parallel Download...
well if tweaking the name is bother you it is.. i prefer this site...
26.
Posted by mzrz 2011-12-03 11:48
well i like embedupload n mirrorcreator n always use it... so i like it if you began change to it..
27.
Posted by Gazer 2011-12-03 14:49
@Nrg
i think so to... it has a short time span...
But the story is different in private tracker...just like http://www.bakabt.me/
well we cant afford luxury to buy another dedicated server not just yet for private tracker.
[Sorry off topic again]
I try to maintain files in http://megaupload.com with my one day premium.
1 day premium is available ( I dont know if its available other than my country) for just US $0.8 - $1.
why we dont try to ask (experiment) who has a premium account on the file hosting site... on how it will go if we upload that some file that usually deleted after sometime. The let see if that file will eventually got deleted or not. it's pretty much of a gamble but worth a try would it?
considering how much a premium account cost. I cant volunteer on my own idea just yet, because of time limitation (one day premium is good only for download in megaupload and its affiliate but not in storing file)and Real life difficulties.
Im just voicing my opinion. If someone offended by it, then I apologize again.

I kinda agree with gazer.
they might have to think twice to remove their paid-user's files.
you should probably upgrade your current MF user account to premium.
9 dollars a month might not hurt
30.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-03 16:34
i kinda agree with mangaestro
going for MF premium would be better i guess.
we will also able to download via MF direct links

Posted by tosh9i 2011-12-03 18:07
Changing the name doesn't help at all. I've uploaded thousands of files, and changing the name of Beck - 01.mkv to something like SummerFun - 01.mkv has never helped. Even putting it in a password protected RAR file didn't make a difference. It always got deleted.
Having a premium account vs a free account won't help protect the files either. I had a premium MF account and that didn't stop them from deleting all 19,000 files in it.
As for MF Premium Direct links, it has a monthly bandwidth of 100GB. Based on how many files get downloaded from C12, I'd say that that bandwidth would get used up within a matter of hours.
If you're looking for a replacement for MF, then http://jumbofiles.com/ is your best bet. But you should also use embedupload as sort of a backup. Plus, it might make things more difficult for the people on the other side.
32.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-03 18:23
on jumbofiles.com download speed goes down a lot
my bet is to use enterupload.com no files has been deleted from there yet (i haven't experienced any delete yet)
but also use mirrorcreator.com & embedupload.com
33.
Posted by smart_guy 2011-12-03 19:01
I'm still convinced that compressing (zip or rar) and password protecting in a clueless file name (does not matter if the file inside keeps its usual naming) would prevent the copyright holders from knowing the content therefore not reporting it, and I believe Mediafire wouldn't delete files with out being reported.
I've come across many compressed files that prevent you from seeing the contents inside unless you put the password, in case this crosses your mind. This can be used.
Please don't let my username fool you and tell me if I'm wrong somewhere.

hmm so confusing now so much opinions and thoughts i wonder what it's gonna be in the end so good luck in whatever my fav cyber12 wants to do ;)
35.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-03 19:43
why not use mirrorcreator.com password protection
instead of rar/zip password
36.
Posted by coolizer 2011-12-03 21:13
or... how about we dont change anything :/
This kinda routine check up on files happen once or twice a year, and stuff can get re-uploaded
nothing much can be done about these if what tosh says is true, just changing the file host wont do much tho using ones that allow them to be uploaded on multiple sites just allow more options, and... in the end doesn't really get rid of the "file deletion" problems
The best thing would just be to re-upload when they get deleted and maybe update a little list of deleted animes and check them off and add them on as you go
37.
Posted by Udame 2011-12-03 22:03
Well, I recommend changing the file name too. so many site do like that.
38.
Posted by destiny0awaits 2011-12-04 01:15
Most files on mediafire get deleted due to web crawlers. They follow the link you place on the site to the mediafire file page where they report copyright infringements.
Here is a way to get around this:
1. Create a xml file with the links to the mediafire downloads and password protect it with winrar.
2. Upload the rar file on mediafire and save the link (lets call this link A).
3. Create a pastebin link leading to the xml file hosted on mediafire (lets call this link B)
4. Create another pastebin link leading to the previous pastebin (Lets call this link C).
5. Post link C on this website.
So basically, Link C will lead to Link B which will then lead to link A where the xml file is located (pastebin link C=> pastebin link B=> mediafire link A). I know this may sound confusing like this but it works. Also be sure to warn users not to post the links on other sites, not even send them through emails. If they want to share it they will have to use Link C.
I hope that helps.
39.
Posted by destiny0awaits 2011-12-04 01:19
Also be careful not to post something like "The password is _____", just give a hint like "The you know what is_____"
43.
Posted by hekatoncheers 2011-12-04 18:02
yeah change the name and make it rar by win rar also choose password for your rar file
44.
Posted by smart_guy 2011-12-04 18:14
Now that's a good idea, registration.
Implement that captcha thingy, or what ever it's called, plus email confirmation and activation link, and finally put a delay for the actual activation to work. Of course this does not mean forgetting about the other suggestions.
Reading all of the above, I'm kinda convinced that it is really difficult to actually link deletion and all there is to be done is to give them hell and delay the inevitable as much as possible, and trust me, the delay is gonna be a looong one.
45.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-04 19:24
upto 10-15min countdown b4 activation link sent to email.
but not 24hr or 2day delay that would be insane
captcha, email confirmation and activation link? good idea.
also website needs new look.
i don't like the rar/zip pass idea as it a hassle when downloading. sometimes rar/zip gets corrupted if pause/resumed while downloading due to maybe packet loss or cyber black hole or something else.
instead password protected links would be good. can't download without pass.
46.
Posted by aizuddin1710 2011-12-04 19:50
thumbs up for password protected links,, although a bit troublesome.. as long as the links are safe and secure, it worth to try
47.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-04 21:47
This way should be perfect then.
1. On Site Registration Compulsory (No Register No Downloading)
2. Use of mirrorcreator.com for uploading. MU, MF, Enterupload, ifile.it Selected Compulsory. (for easy download. EU & ifile hardly delete any episodes)
3. Use of mirrorcreator.com to password protect download links pass should be www.cyber12.com
wont be too troublesome this way.
Check my Sample Link: (pass: www.cyber12.com) (4 File Host easiest to download from Selected)

hope cyber12.com it still using MF, my place internet is slow and only MF is working, enterupload only working two/three at a time in downloading an anime. other file sharing site is not all working because has been block by my country GOV. so please find any solution and still using MF please TQ.
ps; i love anime, only cyber12.com = mediafire to download anime below 100Mb, and cyber12.com is still my choice and the BEST site ever/free to download anime.

Posted by smart_guy 2011-12-05 02:59
Why not make separate accounts for each series? The risk will go down many folds; e.g. risk deletion of only one series' links a time instead of loosing all files at once.
Worried about the usernames and passwords? Unify the usernames plus ending with serial numbers each and simply unify all passwords (or something like that as this is a simple matter.
This is annoying. Here in Saudi Arabia Mediafire is the best. Megaupload is blocked and all other servers are annoying for free.
51.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-05 04:10
Creating multiple accounts might not be bad
but Static IP Uploaders got to be careful about it
too many accounts created off from
single static IP may cause that File Host to ban that IP Address.
52.
Posted by Vlnore 2011-12-05 13:13
@mangaestro
You're right and one more, If you upload it on Indowebster, 4shared (like aninga said before), or any sites like that, there is no need for www.cyber12.com (this site). And I don't want it to happen.
53.
Posted by RedWraith 2011-12-05 21:26
why don't u try http://box.com/ or https://www.dropbox.com/
i think Box.com is the most similiar site with MediaFire, even its need premium member.. but its very easy to download.. just 1 click!!
54.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-05 21:46
does box.com allows parallel downloading like mediafire?
free storage limit is only 5-50gb http://www.box.com/pricing/
dropbox.com allows parallel downloading like MF
but has only 2gb free storage limit

As far as I know the problem is copyright related.
If so, then I guess it does not matter what host is used, as once a copyright breach is reported, the host will just delete the files. Not against the regulations of the host? Well, if the copyright holder ask nicely any host will much likely delete the files anyway
If Mediafire is holding something against us, it is a different matter.

don't use English names for File Name as they are easiest for File Host Staff to Search.
example: instead of [Cyber12.com] Guilty Crown - 01.mp4
use this file name [Cyber12.com]_Girutikuraun_-_01.mp4 (romanized english)

try using ifile.it
can resume & have speed like mediafire
60.
Posted by khayali 2011-12-07 01:11
i think http://jumbofiles.com is the best replacement for mediafire it's easy and fast and it's similar to mediafire in every way and then it's only my point of view i don't know about others
61.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-07 01:25
jumbofiles.com has high download speed fluctuation problem
i think most fans experience it after 10mins or so when resume support is cut off.
i would prefer enterupload over jumbofiles
no resume cut off happens with enterupload
63.
Posted by khayali 2011-12-07 01:42
@kuro123qwer: so u said jumbofiles has that resume support cut off thing but i haven't experienced anything like that but i recently downloaded a full anime season from there and i don't wanna be rude but it's just maybe from ur side that cuts off

maybe i m wrong but what if mediafire is holding something against cyber12?
& deleting just because uploaders add [Cyber12.com]
if that's true
wont it be better change the name
instead of [Cyber12.com] Guilty Crown - 01.mp4
rename to [C12.com] Guilty Crown - 01.mp4
or refrain from using it at all. Guilty Crown - 01.mp4
66.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-07 21:20
@khayali: i requested mirrorcreator.com to add jumbofiles.com to their mirror list & they have added it
hope Cyber12 select jumbofiles too when uploading to mirrorcreator.
67.
Posted by khayali 2011-12-07 23:14
@kuro: hmm it's the 1st time i actually visited that mirrorcreator when u said jumbofiles is added i wanted to check it by myself and ya it's there, but it's not like i have a long history with jumbofiles i just happen to download some stuff from them and it was just easy as mediafire that's why i suggested to do it and about mirrorcreator it's simply impressive to have all those awesome servers or mirror links in their list wow,i think it's the best choice for cyber12 to choose mirrorcreator MAN they have everything and by the way don't forget that name tweak
68.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-08 00:03
Megaupload, Mediafire, Enterupload, ifile, jumbofiles are easiest to download from
& all available on mirrorcreator.com
so best bet is to use mirror creator with title tweak
70.
Posted by kuro123qwer 2011-12-10 15:14
mirrorcreator.com as main
embedupload.com as backup
better instead of relying on only 1

@TheTransparentKnightMirror
Mirror Creator user name and password is as follows:
User: Cyber12
Pass: 1323569568
Do not change any setting what so ever!
___
This is kinda confusing why do you have to reveal mirror creator login user pass
it might cause mirror creator to ban your account.

Example: Naruto shippuden 78.mp4 to My Family 78.rar
XD

Don't use [Cyber12.com] _ & -
i think maybe that's why MF deleting Episodes
give it a try see if it still goes broken
Upload in this way (totally honest)
Guilty Crown 01.mp4
add www.cyber12.com to My Account > Edit Account Details

i found this in download cookies
this is how file hosts knows where their every links are located
its same with MU & other file hosts
do you see utmcsr=cyber12.com & utmcct=/page-Shakugan_no_Shana_3.html in the cookie below?
cookie tells file hosts staff where the link is actually located
i think that's how they find & remove links
i think uploading episodes to mirrorcreator.com
then shorten the link with http://goo.gl/
it maybe fool file host staff. cookie telling all links r located on google.
might help.
example cookie:
Code:

I have brilliant ideas regarding Mediafire.. It will be much easier to back up the files rather than uploading it every time it got deleted. I know because I always back up your files.. It's because of I don't have much time to download.. So, I always save your files and store it in m y account before downloading it whenever I'm fee.
Here the basic idea. Open two Mediafire accounts.. Upload to one of the anime (Let's say account A). Save that file to account B. However, all files at account B are been made private. It will never got deleted since it private (Only you can see them, that is the purpose-It meant for back up). Whenever files in account A got deleted, you can always save from account B to account A. Account A is where the links that you provide in Cyber12.com.

I have brilliant ideas regarding Mediafire.. It will be much easier to back up the files rather than uploading it every time it got deleted.
I know because I always back up your files.. It's because of I don't have much time to download.. So, I always save your files and store it in
my account before downloading it whenever I'm fee.
Sorry, I post this twice. It's hard to read up there

If you given me the permission, I can always restore the dead links for Mediafire.
But then, I need to gain access to Cyber12 dashboard.. (From now on, the old anime already been deleted.)

Well now Megaupload is dead so all the Megaupload links are gone too. Looks like a new Filesharer will have to be decided on now.
